New York, NY – The highly anticipated psychological thriller ‘COFFIN’ will screen in New York, NY for the first time at the Tribeca Grand Hotel on Saturday, January 14, 2012. ‘COFFIN’ is a Skyrocket Productions film directed by Kipp Tribble and Derik Wingo starring Kevin Sorbo (Hercules), Bruce Davidson (X-Men), Johnny Alonso (All My Children|Rules of Engagement), Patrick Barnitt (Se7en|Star Trek) and Sunny Doench about a woman and her lover being trapped inside a wooden ‘COFFIN’ with a flash light, a camera and little oxygen left, the woman’s husband only has a very limited amount of time to free her and her lover or the husband will be charged with their murder.

ABOUT COFFIN THE MOVIE

Jack Samms' life is turned upside down one evening when he is visited by a menacing stranger. The stranger, known only as "Trick," shows Jack images on a computer screen of Jack's estranged wife and her lover trapped inside an air-tight wooden box. Trick gives Jack an ultimatum; get him a large sum of money within 75 minutes, or else the couple suffocates inside the box. A dangerous battle of wits ensues as Jack races against the clock to get the money and save his wife, while avoiding the detectives now on his trail. Will he make it in time?

A psychological thriller starring Kevin Sorbo (Hercules), Bruce Davidson (X-Men), Patrick Barnitt (Se7en|Star Trek), Johnny Alonso (All My Children|Rules of Engagement) and Sunny Doench.

On Thursday, October 27, 2011 the highly anticipated psychological thriller ‘COFFIN’ staring Kevin Sorbo (Hercules) premiered in Hollywood at Laemmle Sunset 5 Theater. The premiere was a sold out event with attendees from the cast, crew, family and friends who graced the red carpet and celebrated a night of film success.
